This is a shot of Laura at her wedding 2 weeks ago. It was late afternoon & taken in the shade. Unfortunately a nice shot of her was spoilt by another person in the background.
Retouching:
1. Opened in raw.
2. Increased the exposure
3. Added clarity to all
4. Decreased clarity to skin
5. Opened in photoshop
6. Selected LHS of Laura to remove unwanted guest.
7. Selected area on RHS & copied 3 layers behind the hole that was made by removing unwanted guest.
8. With various tools fitted the background into image. Lightened the colour.
9. Selected strands of Laura's hair & copied sunk into top of head
10. Lightened side curls.
11. Removed chest blotches with extra layer filled with 50%grey & blended with Soft light (in the fill window) - Painted the blotches with white (4%). Haven't done that before & it worked.
12. Fixed some other remaining blotches with patch tool.
13. Made 3 layers for eye fix - middle layer colour dodge blend, light opacity.
14. mask layer above & painted whites of eyes.
15. Right eye still redish so selected it & desaturated red & lightened.
16. Decided lips didnt need fixing.
